Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
IPA。
久しぶりのスカルピン。
飲むの何年ぶりだろう。
オレンジやグレープフルーツのような風味。
それからベリーやトロピカルフルーツ。
少し甘い感じがあり、瑞々しくフルーティー。
草っぽい感じも少々。
苦みは、意外と控えめの印象。
ボディは、やや重めかなぁ。
もっとクラシックな感じかと思ったのだけど、意外と今風のIPA。
久しぶりに飲んだせいもあると思うけれど、美味しいね。
アルコール度数7% IBU?

間違っているところや変なところもあるとは思うけれど、今は、これが精一杯。
IPA.
It’s been a while since I’ve had a Skullpin.
I wonder how many years it’s been since I last had one.
It has flavors reminiscent of orange and grapefruit.
Then there are notes of berries and tropical fruits.
It has a slightly sweet taste and is refreshingly fruity.
There’s also a hint of grassiness.
The bitterness is surprisingly mild.
The body feels a bit on the heavy side, I guess.
I thought it would be more classic, but it’s actually a surprisingly modern IPA.
I think part of it is because it’s been so long since I’ve had one, but it’s delicious.
